Rockenbaugh Birthday Buddies
Congratulations! Your child will be celebrating his/her birthday this
year at RES. As part of your celebration, we hope that you will consider
joining the Rockenbaugh Birthday Buddies, by making a book donation in honor of
your child’s special day. A book donation to the library becomes a lasting
memory. Simply fill out the form below and return it to the library with $15.00
in cash or a check made out to RES.
A collection of books will be kept in the library for your child to make
a selection from. Parents are welcome to assist in the selection or the child
may make their own choice. The books in the collection are favorites of our
students and teachers or new releases. When a selection has been made, we will
take your child’s picture and put it on a bookplate at the front of the book.
Your child’s picture will also be displayed on the Birthday buddies bulletin
board by the library.

Thank you for purchasing Birthday Buddies for your child in honor of their birthday. We make a bulletin board in the library with your child's picture as well as placing a book plate with your child's picture in the book they have chosen and they are the first to check it out from the library. I give them a bookmark and birthday eraser to go with it. I hope this is a special addition or a new birthday tradition for your child to help make their birthday special. Currently I am awaiting an order of new books to come in to begin my October/November birthdays and work backward and forward with the list as I go. Thank you for being patient with me as we work through COVID restrictions for volunteers, construction, new shelving and furniture in the library. I will work as fast as I can to catch everyone on our list as close to their birthday as possible.
